Nothing is Impossible…
Good morning, good morning, good morning!!
It is going to be a gorgeous day here in Georgia!
And….it is FRIDAY!!!!
And…it is my sister, Angela’s birthday!!
All the most FUN things today!
Something has been on my heart, and of course, I have to share with you.
There are some scriptures that I just cannot stop thinking about. I tend to see them everywhere lately.
Obviously, it is no coincidence that I see them everywhere because our theme this year is Prayer here on the blog.
The scriptures are…
“With God all things are possible”…Matthew 19:29
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37
“What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Luke 18:27
Three different passages saying the exact same thing.
My question is…do we believe this? Like, really believe this?
I keep a list on my phone and in my prayer journal with prayers I call “Immeasurably More Prayers.”
Immeasurably more prayers come from the verse Ephesians 3:20…
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…
These prayers are big prayers that I write down. Prayers that seem quite impossible if I am being honest.
However, I still pray them.
Let me tell you about one that was answered a couple of years ago.
A family member that we dearly love was swept away by drugs and a horrible abusive relationship. We did not see her for many years, and honestly thought we never would see her again.
We were devastated by her life and the loss of her presence in our family.
Our family prayed fervently for her return.
Although we prayed daily, it seemed so….big. So hard. So impossible.
But, nothing is too big or too impossible with God.
Guess what?!
Our precious family member came home.
She is a new person.
She is well.
She is healed.
My sister and I talk constantly about how God answered that prayer. We also talk about how even when we prayed for her, we had to push through the doubt. It just seemed like it would never happen.
Oh, But GOD!!!
What a JOY it was to go to my “Immeasurably More” prayer list and cross that prayer off!!
Friend, what is your immeasurably more?
Write it down.
Store it in your phone notes so you can see it day after day.
Pray.
Pray.
Pray.
God will make a way, or He will create a new way.
He is Faithful!
He longs to answer our prayers…not because He is a genie in a bottle, but because it shows HIS GLORY!
Answered prayer is about HIM, not about us!
When we tell our answered prayer stories to others, it boosts our faith and their faith.
Answered prayers point others to Jesus!
It spurs us on to keep praying, keep drawing near to God.

He loves us and He wants us to talk to Him, to share our hearts with Him, to fall at His feet and worship Him!
