Without a shadow of a doubt…
It was a lazy Saturday morning.
Both kids were home under the roof for the first time in a while, so this momma was happy.
My daughter, Presley, had plans to spend the day at the lake with her boyfriends family, and my son, Joseph, was headed to Atlanta to stay the night with some of his old high school friends.
Usually, I don’t write in my prayer journal on Saturdays because we often have a full plate of things to do, errands to run, or just hanging out together as a family.
This particular Saturday, I had time to sit and write. My daughter had left early to leave for the lake, and my son was getting ready to leave.

Dig and Bloom…
It was a rainy afternoon. Sitting under a warm blanket, bible, notebooks, and prayer journals falling off my lap, I cupped my hot tea in my hands.
From time to time, I like to revisit old prayer journals. I picked up one from a dusty shelf that was from the Summer of 2013.
As I read page after page, I sat in amazement of how simple those old journals were.
My heart was all over the pages, but the times seem to be different then.

This is the day…
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Way back in 2015, we were feeling led by God to make a move.
We had built a home for our family in 2006, and loved every ounce of our time there.
However, Lem and I both felt God was shifting us to a new place beginning early of 2015.
I always know when God is up to something because He aligns me AND Lem’s heart.
We are complete and absolute opposites, so when we are in agreement on something, it has to be God. Haha!

Praises
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
— psalm 143:8
