This is the day…
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Way back in 2015, we were feeling led by God to make a move.
We had built a home for our family in 2006, and loved every ounce of our time there.
However, Lem and I both felt God was shifting us to a new place beginning early of 2015.
I always know when God is up to something because He aligns me AND Lem’s heart.
We are complete and absolute opposites, so when we are in agreement on something, it has to be God. Haha!

Hopelessly Devoted…
This past Monday, we celebrated a big birthday milestone for my sweet husband, Lem.
I had tried to plan him a party of some sort, but he refused. The social butterfly that he is, this was surprising!
However, we do have some dinner plans made with friends that will suffice and fill his social butterfly cup. :)
He called me from work Monday, on his birthday, and said he wanted to go try a restaurant in downtown Atlanta that evening. He had checked and was able to secure a reservation.
Thrilled to have a night out and away from the kitchen, I gleefully said, “YESSS!!!!”

Distracted?…
Hello, friends! It is so nice to connect with you. I have missed human contact. Haha.
Just kidding, but not really.
We are full on puppy training over here. I know, I know. You are tired of the puppy talk but it is all I have right now. Bear with me. :)
I feel like a mom of a toddler. My days are filled with poop, pee, wiping up messes, and lack of sleep.
Clearly, I forgot about this stage of puppy parenting when we got our sweet Max three weeks ago.
I have to constantly tell myself…this too will pass! This will not last forever!

Praises
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
— psalm 143:8
