The Best Yes…
I am once again, knee deep in the book of 1 Samuel.
1 Samuel holds dear to my heart because it was the very first book of the Bible I began to read back in 2012.
King David plays a big part in my sentiment towards this particular book of the Bible. Constantly, I am left in awe of his love for God, his obedience, and his discipline.
No, he was not perfect. Thank goodness, because then we would not be able to relate to David. He was flawed, very flawed. Yet, his heart was in line with desiring to please God at all costs.

Words to Remember…
If you have a graduate, or maybe YOU are the graduate, I would love to share some things close to my heart.
I wrote this letter to my children last year, but often I look back over it to remind myself….to remember what is important.
“But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant…” Psalm 103:17-18

12 years…
This morning, I read through some of the book of 1 Samuel.
Samuel holds dear to my heart for many reasons. One of those being that it was the very first book of the bible I read when I began this bible reading journey back in 2012.
Some of you reading this post today were with me on that journey so long ago!

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
