Make a list…
Good morning, good morning, good morning!
Today is Thursday, and when my kids were little we called Thursdays, Thankful Thursday.
I say we bring back Thankful Thursday! :)
Years ago, I would wake up every day with a knot in my stomach. Anxiety pounded my heart day after day after day.
It was debilitating in many ways.
Anxiety made it hard for me to be alone, yet it also made it hard for me to be around people.
Truly, it was a vicious cycle of torment.
Pit Fall…
Recently, I was in a pit of anxiety and fear.
It usually hits when I am least expecting it.
If you have ever struggled with fear and/or anxiety, you know what I am talking about. If you have never struggled with it, please keep reading. More than likely someone you know is struggling, or you may face it one day.
The Prescription for Peace…
When my daughter, Presley, was a little girl, she suffered terribly with night terrors.
If you have a child that has gone through this, you know how exhausting and completely terrifying they are to your child.
She would wake up screaming and covered in perspiration night after night.
A wise friend began praying with me about these night terrors my little girl was having.

Praises

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
