Pearls and Pigs…
Happy Wednesday, sweet Rise and Shine friends!
Gosh, I wish I could sit right across from you over a cup of coffee and just talk our little hearts away.
My love language is quality time, so that would fill my tank so full!
For the last several days, I have been pondering this scripture…
“Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.” Matthew 7:6
A few weeks ago, I began to fervently pray over my marriage. I mean, I usually pray over my husband, but I became more specific in my prayers over our marriage.
As a mother, most of my prayer time is regarding my children.
However, we must not neglect our marriage. As a sweet friend reminded me yesterday…”The enemy hates marriage.”
Prepare the Net…
Good morning, good morning!
I hope this week is starting off extra sweet for you.
Well, here in Georgia, the winter weather has returned…but not for long!
By this weekend, we will be back to sunny skies and hot temps. Yippee!
Do you remember way back in January, I told you that I really wanted us to focus on prayer this year?
Prayer is powerful.
Prayer unleashes God’s will here on earth.
Prayer is the conduit for His will to be done.
But, do we really believe this?
Just keep showing up…
Happy happy happy Friday, sweet friends!
I sure hope you have had a wonderful week.
This morning, I finished up my Bible reading and just could not wait to get to my computer to write to you.
Filling my cup of coffee for the second time, I just sat down with the biggest smile on my face as I thought of you.
A story keeps circulating through my heart that I heard this week and I want to share it with you!

Praises

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
— psalm 143:8
