This past month, I have really been diving into one of the fruits of The Spirit…Gentleness.

It is definitely not one of the most sought after virtues in our harsh society, is it?

We don’t hear lectures, lessons, or really any teaching on the virtue of gentleness…except in God’s Word.

There has to be a reason God wants to give us this fruit. It must be important to our faith journey.

It certainly is important.

Many of you know that my 20 year old daughter, Presley, was in an accident a couple of months ago, I shared it in this post.

For a while, she has wanted to share her story with all of you.

Good morning, sweet Rise and Shine friends! Goodness, I have missed you.

August is here!

I am so thankful for a new season, and a little bit of a different schedule.

Being a creature of habit, I crave familiarity in my days.

Summer can be a topsy turvy of crazy, which has its time and place.

Yet, my heart always need some steadfast rhythm to beat to.
