Sitting at a table filled to the rim with friends, we began talking about a new remedy on the market. A new fad that is a cure all for everything! It promises life changing benefits, in just two tablespoons a day!

I had never heard of this thing and frantically, I began to google it and look for where I could find it.

Maybe THIS is what I have been missing. Maybe THIS is the answer to all of my needs.

How many times have I been in this situation? Looking, always looking for something more. Something better. Something to improve my health and prolong my days.

There is an old childhood song that most of us can recite…

“Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”

This song cannot be further from the truth.

God’s Word, being our ultimate Truth, actually teaches us completely opposite to those very lyrics.

The pain came on quickly.

Literally, out of nowhere, sharp pain in my upper back tooth.

What in the world? My thoughts were all over the place.

I called a sweet neighbor, who’s husband is a dentist.

They quickly took me in, despite their office being closed that day.

It didn’t take long for them to confirm my suspicions…

I had an abscessed tooth.

Noooooooo.
