Keep knocking…
Does God ever keep showing you a word, over and over?
Yeah, me too.
That word right now is “persistence”.
There is a story in the Bible about a “persistent widow”.
It can be found in Luke chapter 18.

Too much information…
We live in a world where we can get information about anything at any moment.
My daughter was home from college studying this weekend and she looked up from her laptop and said, “Mom, how in the world did you and Dad get through high school and college without the internet??”
I laughed and said, “Well, actually, we just spent a lot of time in the library!”
Honestly, I miss those days. It sure seemed simpler then.

Eyes wide shut…
A couple of weeks ago, I was visiting my favorite TJ Maxx store.
I was on a mission to find some cute little Fall decorations for our home.
Laser focused, I suddenly had to go to the bathroom.
Ugh. I didn’t really have time to go, I had an appointment to be at, and the lines to check out at TJ Maxx are often not the shortest.
I ran to the bathroom, and out of the corner of my eyes I saw a lady washing her hands at the sink.

Praises
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
