Wiping down counters…
I find myself sitting here in the cafeteria of a car dealership, waiting on my car to be serviced.
It is a healthy 2 hour long drive to get here to this place. Yes, 2 hours.
I don’t have the heart to leave my trusty service technician. He’s trustworthy and honest.
Not to mention, the place offers food and drinks and free wifi while I wait.
So, here I am!
Available…
We just had some sod put down in our yard. It takes a whole heck of a lot of watering.
Twice a day, sometimes 3 times a day.
It is a monotonous job, standing there with hose in hand, patiently watering every little blade of grass in the sod patch.
However, I find it peaceful. There is something about it that brings contentment.
The Best Yes…
I am once again, knee deep in the book of 1 Samuel.
1 Samuel holds dear to my heart because it was the very first book of the Bible I began to read back in 2012.
King David plays a big part in my sentiment towards this particular book of the Bible. Constantly, I am left in awe of his love for God, his obedience, and his discipline.
No, he was not perfect. Thank goodness, because then we would not be able to relate to David. He was flawed, very flawed. Yet, his heart was in line with desiring to please God at all costs.

Praises

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
