Stay in the race…
For the last several years, I have written in my prayer journal daily…
“Create in me a pure heart, renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10
Honestly, the focus of the prayer and plea to God was on the pure heart. I really did not think much about the second half of the prayer…renewing a steadfast spirit within me.
Over the past several months, the word “steadfast” has a whole new meaning to my heart.
God has been answering that prayer that I did not even realize I was praying.

Shalom…
Good morning, my friends! I wanted to share with you a wonderful resource for your faith journey.
Are you familiar with the Hebrew Names of God?
I want to share a few of them with you that I love to use when praying.
Different seasons of my life, I have clung to several of these. I will be driving my car gripping my steering wheel, just calling out to God in these Hebrew Names.
Every time we speak the Name of God, something powerful happens in the spiritual world. It also reaffirms in our own hearts that God is in control. He is All Knowing, All Seeing, All EVERYTHING. AT ALL TIMES.

Geek Squad Wisdom…
Last week my husband and I celebrated 25 years of marriage. 25 years!
I remember vividly helping to throw a party in my late teen years to celebrate my parents 25th anniversary.
A few weeks before our anniversary, two guys from Best Buy’s Geek squad were here helping to install some tv’s and internet stuff for our house.
One of the young technicians looked on the mantle at a family portrait and said, “Ma’am, how long have you and your husband been married?”
My mind quickly raced to wise things I could say….
But, ultimately, before I could think of a wise saying, I just blurted out…
“Jesus!”

Praises
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
— psalm 143:8
