Lay it down…
A couple of week ago, I frantically looked for some sheets of paper. How hard could it be to find some paper around this house? Goodness gracious.
Making up my bed just minutes before, a thought came to me. Earlier this year, I had read in our bible reading plan the story of Hezekiah.
Really, I had not thought much of him until tucking in my white sheets neatly under my mattress that morning.
Ahh, finally, I found some paper.
I grabbed a pen and scribbled prayers on individual sheets of paper. My handwriting barely legible.
Win the battle…
Rise and Shine! Happy Worship Wednesday, sweet friends!
Today, as you wake up and start your day, praise Jesus in your heart and in your words.
When those worrisome thoughts come, when those fearful thoughts rise up….discipline your heart and mind to PRAISE God instead.
There was a season in my life when I would wake up and feel dread as I began my day. It was all I could do to roll out of bed.
Have you ever felt this way? It is a discouraging place to be.
Let it go…
When you start to read God’s Word, conviction takes place. In a big way.
I felt it recently. Word by word as I read my Bible, I was UNDONE by conviction. Not guilt, but conviction. There is a difference.
Conviction is that gentle whisper of The Holy Spirit…guilt is the loud condemning voice of the enemy.
I was convicted to forgive.

Praises

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
